I received suction of my inner thighs, hips/flanks, and upper/lower abs which was performed by Dr. Fardo at the Swan Center. Has anyone here had surgery performed by him and know what his policy is regarding touchups (cost, etc) if there is any assymetry left after 6 mo?

HI, I dont know of him, but perhaps you may know something, anything, about dr robert golden of alpharetta?? I plan to use him in january and I am trying to find out if anyone has used him and or has heard of him. Thanks. fyi...most surgeons will do touchups free of charge or at a very minimal fee.

OK, Don't know Dr. Fardo's policy.....but I go to the Swan Center...Dr. Bauer is my PS.....I hear Dr. Fardo is great...I would call and ask or make a follow-up appt...and ask him....
Regarding Dr. Golden....he is not a ...I went to him initially he actually did my husband's and my surgery....What a weirdo...personality of a rock....we later went to Dr. Bauer...he actually took some fat out!!!! Golden gives you 4 valium and does it in the office and I didn't see much results...he is cheap...but...don't waste your money.......This is just my opinion. I wish you well...

Well, the literature I received from the Swan Center states something to the effect that all touch ups/revisions are free (in terms of no surgeon fees) if scheduled within the first 90 days...problem is, most swelling doesn't resolve for up to 6 months....so, I don't know how to handle...

Peaches, revisions are done at 6 months so that your body has time to finish swelling as much. I would make an appt with him at 2 1/2 months and schedule..and hopefully they will not be be able to schedue you before the 5 1/2 6 months mark..

do you think golden even took out anything at all?? Or was there just minimal results. His nurse says he is very aggressive and will get it all. I have paid already and his policy is NO REFUND> so i guess I am stuck. I may can contact a lawyer, but i signed paperwork that says non-refundable. Can you tell me more about your experience with him?? was it painful?? what did he say about your results??

I just didn't do my homework and after paying, having the done, (my husband and I both) we wished we would have gone to a PS. I think he did take out some, but he wasn't aggressive enough. I didn't see results like I wanted. He also doesn't even talk to you during consultation...did he speak with you?? Or only the nurses..?? I was told by my current PS office manager that they get a lot of Dr. Golden's patients....(The Swan Center is on the same road) I would just be very, very blunt about how much you want taken out and ask to talk to the . The thing that really made me think, "What have I gotten myself into" was the fact that he doesn't have hospital privilages anywhere. Why would a doctor doing liposuction not have hospital priv?? He certainly can't be that aggressive...Ya know?? I don't want to open a can of worms....but I feel like he was a waste of money...

I GUESS I SHOULD HAVE DONE MY HOMEWORK,LOL. I only talked to the nurse, she showed my a , said he was in surgery, thats why i couldnt talk to him. He is very busy, she said. he does everyday, mon-fri. She does all his consults and was pointing out the bad things that my previous PS missed and assured me that dr golden was very very aggressive and that i would be happy. I have had lipo before, in a hospital and have had 2 touchups using tumescent in his office and i came away from the 2 touchups thinking "this is so easy, i wish i had saved some money and used a DR that does this in his office....it was 1100 dollars just to spend the night at the hospital). after my touchups, i got dressed, went to the mall and drove 90 minutes home. so when i went in search of a new dr, i was looking for one to do it in his office and i came upon goldens website, his before and after pics were great, and the price was good. so.....here i am. Where you awake enough to talk/yell at him?lol. I just dont want to die, most importantly and second, i want him to get all the fat out without messing up my body. thank you sooo much for taking the time to reply to me. I just pray that by the time my surgery gets here, he will have some more expereince under his belt and do a great job on me. I know i wont ever get my money back. merry christmas and happy new year to you. by the way, how much does the swan center charge for 2 areas of lipo??

Same with me, I asked to see him, and fortunately the little guy (seriously) said hello, that was it! They gave me 4 valium with warm water and I really didn't feel anything...till the end. My hubby felt everything...I don't remember much. Hey, he may be great for you...I hope so....just talk to him before your surgery when he is marking you...and be firm about what you want done....Hopefully it will all work out! I can't tell you how much Swan is for 2 areas. Last Feb., I had a BA, and to several areas...low ab, i/o thighs, flanks, hips....I think it was around 10k. Now with the ett, and more lipo around 11k. I had minimal of flanks,hips and outer thigh done by my regular ps in Alpharetta, Dr. Marc Yune - located off Old Road. He has been on Discovery Health channel, WE network and CNN with Dr. Gupta. He has done all my other work and I look completely natural. He is very very good and I had no pain, went to dinner and a movie right after lipo. No complications and very satified. I only had 700cc's aka micro lipo. I am 5'7 , 112 lbs and very lean, I just wanted a little refinement so I did'nt have that little bit over tight jeans.
