Your mother-in-law probably does not really have acid reflux/GERD, she probably just has some occasional minor heart burn from improper eating habits.

i wonder about vinegar - don't they say you shouldn't eat anything acidic? let alone vinegar? i love vinegar and have eaten sooo much salad with balsamic vinegar, am just addicted to it...would that aggrevate my reflux?

WP Shooter... You're probably right, I don't think she has half hte symptoms I have.
I'm glas it works for her, I , on the other hand will nver try ACV again.
