Hello everyone! I just wanted to say hello, I have not been around the past few days. I was in a horrible car accident on Friday evening ( car destroyed ). Everyone is fine ( thank the lord ). I must have had an angel looking out for me because my hardware is all still in place and nothing happened to my back ( thank you god ) I am a little stiff and shook up other than that I think I will be fine. I wanted to tell everyone that seatbelts and airbags save lives!!! ( they saved mine!! ). The car was airborne! took out a telephone pole and a fire hydrant, pretty scary stuff. When I got to the hospital my neuro was there that night doing rounds so I has happy to see a friendly face. I am still healing well and trying to do all the things I can to get my back stronger and better!!! As you all know its a long road!! Hope everyone's week end was better than mine. Take care .

Oh my LORD!! You just went thru my worst nightmare. I am so thankful you are okay. You have no problems? PRAISE GOD, your surgeon was on call. Did they do CT and MRI's?? I am just shaking.

Holy Crap, that is so scary. Thank God you are ok!!! Car wrecks are scarey!!! But after fusion holy crap!!! How long ago did you have the surgery? I always wear my seatbelt!!! I am so glad you are ok, you sure did have an angel watching over you!!

Rose, I'm glad you're okay! Have you been more sore from being banged around? What a blessing that your doctor just "happened" to be at the hospital! We know whose hands you were in!!!

I know Diet it's my worst nightmare too! I did not see it coming ( I think that was the blessing right there ). No MRI or CT, they did do xrays and I did go back and see my neuro yesterday, he said everything looks good and I should play the lotto! Yvette I had my fusion done Dec 12, 06 about 15 weeks ago, I really am a lucky girl! Still shaking but ok. Emily, I am sore and stiff back taking viccodin ( was taking tramadol ) but I am not in the hospital and at home!! I was so happy my neuro was doing rounds Friday night! I think walking is the way to go from now on . I hope you are still feeling good Emily! I hope Diet and Yvette are feeling easier after your fusions . I still can't believe that I am ok and nobody else was hurt, thank you God!! Thanks for your support guys, really helped me I am so shaken up I can hardly believe it!
