My doctor wants me to wean myself off of Lyrica and Flexeril. I was taking both of these drugs twice a day. What can I expect if I drop down to one a day? Should I expect any withdrawal symptoms?

Hi Ollie,
I was taking 75mg 2 times a day til a few weeks ago, now taking one a day due to the side effects. I did not notice any withdrawl or dependency issues when my doctor dropped me down to 1 a day. Have not taken flexeril so not sure on that one.

Ollie if you are concerned about problems with flexeril, you could break it in 1/2. Do 1 1/2 for a few days, then go down to one, and then 1/2.

I have done this with Flexeril because if I take the entire pill I can't function. Hope it helps you.
